Hampton HighLine 5kw Eco Design Ready Defra Approved Woodburning Stove

One of the Largest Stove Retailers in the UK. Over 15,000 positive reviews for stoves and related products. Hampton HighLine 5kw - Eco Design Ready - Defra Approved - Woodburning Stove.

It has been tested and approved to meet the new Ecodesign requirements that will be mandatory for all stoves by 2022, making this a stove for now and for the future. This model not only meets but exceeds the government's tough requirements by some distance; many stoves do not pass the test at all.

All test results have been carried out by Kiwa Gastec in Cheltenham, UK - a leader in their field. Find out more about the Ecodesign scheme at stoveindustryalliance. The Highline is a taller version of the standard Hampton and it suits a tall slim fireplace or a freestanding set up. In response to the government's initiatives to lower such emissions from wood burning stoves, you can rest assured that you have one of the cleanest stoves for sale in the UK.

This unrivalled clean burn has been achieved by the quality engineering exhibited in all Hampton models. All bodies are made from thick steel plate that is perfectly folded and welded together, ensuring no air can leak into the stove. The hidden gem of this fire is its internal shell - effectively another stove inside the stove, where air is drawn in from the stove's rear, fed between these two layer of steel and precisely disbursed over the fire at the rear, through a series of holes inside the chamber. Having the air introduced high up in chamber is an effective way of re burning the initial smoke and pollutants created by the fire. The air that is not dispuresd through these holes speeds up as it rises over the fire and is released like a curtain of air over the glass. This heating effect speeds the air up and is the most effective way of keeping the glass clean. In our attached video you can see the curtain of air descends on the glass as the vent is opened. Practical and truly wonderful to watch.

The Hampton 5 is a woodburning only stove therefore does not require a multi-fuel grate or ash pan as wood loves to burn on the base. The stove is however lined with thick 30mm vermiculite boards that protect the stoves shell and its internal steel baffle is removable for sweeping. Under the stove is the simple push pull leaver that gives an incredibly accurate degree of control over the fire as the vent plate is mechanically attached to the body. The Hampton has a 30mm thick virgin ore cast iron door that helps retain and slowly release the heat into the room in conjunction with the stoves thick body.

Going into the door is the stoves unique hand made twist handle with wooden leaver. We also offer this unit with a chrome handle.

If you require the Chrome handle please add this onto the notes when checking out. As with all parts of the Hampton they are well designed and engineered but not over complicated. Too often stoves have over complicated system that do not stand the test of time and can be incredibly expensive and complicated to fix. As mentioned in the technology section the air is drawn into the fire low down at the stoves rear.

The air races up and over the stoves chamber increasing in speed as it travels until it is unvailed and drops like a curtain over the stoves glass. This can be seen in action on the video attached at the start of this listing. This system is proven to be a very effective way of keeping the glass clean and clear of smoke stains providing the wood burnt is well seasoned. A heat shield that reduces the distances to combustibles from 375mm to just 100mm, perfect for free standing installs. This bolts to the rear of the stove and can be selected on checkout.

Vertical rear flue box that makes certain installations a lot easier and also gives the user a perfectly flat top, perfect for cooking. The Vertical rear flue box only protrudes 160mm whereas a 90 degree bend added to a stoves rear protrudes a minimum of 230mm, allowing the user to use the rear flue option without having the stove stick too far out in the room. This unit draws in all of its air from the rear so a direct air feed kit can be attached to this 100mm air spigot.

We offer matching lengths of 1.2mm thick vitreous enamel flue pipe to be added onto to each order. 250mm, 500mm and 1000mm lengths. This covers the stove's body and not the internal perishable parts like grates and fire bricks.

Guarantee is activated when the stove is invoiced. For stove to be covered it must be installed by a HETAS engineer or signed off by building control. 2022 Eco Design Ready - Approved by HETAS. Outlet : 5 (125mm) top and rear - With a flue box option.
