Cast Iron Regency Rim Lock. Complete With Heavy Solid Brass Beehive Door Knob Pair In An Aged Brass Finish. 2 x Knobs approximately 50mm Diameter. 2 x Roses approximately 50mm Diameter. Spindle Hole To Edge Of Lock: 50mm.

This is a dual handed, thumb nail rim latch lock. Lovely cast iron with brass fittings in a'hand aged' finish. The knob pair and brass components on the lock are unlacquered, these will age naturally over time. The knob pair is made from heavy solid brass.

This rim lock is complete with an emergency release function, this cannot be used when pairing with these knob pairs as the backplates will cover the hole on the reverse side. Each lock is hand finished in pewter and is supplied with a matching lock keep.

The Regency latch comes boxed with all fixing screws. This unique design makes it perfect for both left and right hung doors and locks from both sides. The latch is NOT reversible. As this knob pair is complete with a threaded spindle and removable backplates, they can be used as mortice knobs with a tubular mortice latch. As a rim knob to be used with rim locks.
