Rustic Style Wood-burning / Solid Fuel Workshop Stove complete with rear cast iron spigot. These stoves look superb in any environment, very simple to install - an economical alternative to many other versions. As each one is individually handmade and finished, this gives the variety and character that is lacking with massed produced versions.
This item is a direct replica of a 1920's version and produced by exactly the same manufacturing methods. These items are traditionally finished in the blacksmiths'oil / rust' to show the antique patina - this sometime leaves a residue which can be wiped clean by using a dry cotton cloth. Designed to burn wood or coal mix and has variable air control on lower flap. The inner has 25mm of heat proof fire box lining.
We recommend using a standard flu or cast iron pipe (which is easily available from many salvage or scrap yards). Diameter of flue pipe us 3.75" (you can fit 4.0" cast iron pipe as chimney if required). Please Note - Due to the weight, this item is better if collected, although can be delivered by pallet, and can be viewed in use at our premises in East Yorkshire.
